You might be wondering why the name Loom.
The name comes from my own—using the first initials of Lisa and Muller, along with the double “O” from my middle name, Nooyen, to form the word Loom. Beyond that personal connection, the name also reflects the heart of my work.
A loom is a structure that holds threads in place so they can be woven together into something new. In therapy, we do similar work. Together, we take the thoughts, memories, and experiences that may feel tangled or overwhelming and begin to explore and organize them with care and intention.
Using thoughtful, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, we work to weave these pieces together, supporting you in developing greater clarity, understanding, and a more authentic, empowering narrative of yourself.
